SH Public Service Announcement Some of you have noticed that one person has created multiple accounts and has invaded various SH bullboards including CXR. Notwithstanding his alias name he uses at any given time, he is easily recognized by the content and tone of his posts.
Some characteristics are:
calling people clowns and 2bit traders, saying there is an organized campaign against a particular stock, that analysts or the street are not worth listening to, that he invests in beaten down stocks, that he and the securities he chooses are "bashed", that short sellers and manipulators are everywhere trying to take shares from retail, that others who are buls are "attacked" and the bulls need defending, that often contradicts himself (says he doesn't trade then says he bought traders), that doesn't understand fundamentals, that complains of others who have multiple accounts and reports them to SH but most never get deleted because most are legitimate one person SH user name, that mostly posts as one alias during the week (PROtrading now) and one alias during the evenings/weekend (Fullreversal, Lookingforhits), that fills BB's with mostly nonsence pushing down the legitimate content of any BB he infiltrates, that uses one of his accounts to respond to another in an attempt to convince others that there is more then one person in that thread (on the BTE BB he created a ridiculous fake account "Navien" who attemts to appear to not understand english), that 5 star all their posts instantly even when most are useless garbage ,that once he sees a post the he doesn't like will fill the thread to push down those that he doesn't like (see how long this one lasts), that refers to "we" when there is really only one person who holds such co incidentl outrageous beliefs/investment strategies, plus many more I'm sure people here pick up on.
He is currently using the alia(s):
PROtrading, FullReversal, Looking4hits, Navien, BuyCanadian
Formaly he used the alias including but not limited to:
cyclewatch, triplebull, censoredone, censored(two), Quickwins, blackgoldbull, capitulationbuy, plus more I forget or haven't been around long enough to know.
Many here on the CXR BB will remember his alias: Shortattack and Techtarget.
Now what we know about him, after some people sucessfully fished him for information, is his real name is Mark Bill from Ontario. We have his e-mail but I won't post it publicly. He uses IP blockers or remote VPN sites to mask his IP while logging into SH with his multiple accounts thereby allowing some of his accounts to not be deleted by SH admins. There is a short time in the AM where he does not post as he is commuting to work and all the SH BB's get a break from his nonsence.
I personally refer to him as "Mark" since I'd rathar address the one real person rathar then pretend that his multiple accounts are separate people. I have reported some of his prior accounts for SH "multiple account" site violations including his alia(s):
cyclewatch, cpitulationbuy, and blackgoldbull all of which were either deleted by SH admins or his account was blocked in the case of cyclewatch.
Many other SH users have reported him as well resulting in some of his accounts being deleted.
Mark has lost alot of money chasing his favorite beaten down stock down to zero. Some of his big losses that I am aware of include: PHM, VRX, CXR, BB.A, and lots of oil stocks last year and last fall.
The best way to deal wih him:
1) Call out his new alia(s) when they pop up like Looking4hits instantly so their default SH newbie credibility is instantly destroyed and people put him on ignore.
2) Use the Report Abuse SH feature and report his alia(s) as multiple accounts so that some will be deleted and SH gets the message from multiple legitimate SH users that we don't want him participating if he can't follow the rules
3) Place his known alia(s) on ignore. Eventually the only person who sees his posts is him and his multiple accounts
4) Lobby SH to consider a permenant ban on users who abuse the policies multiple times.
5) Refrain from responding to him......... as difficult as the may be myself included.
I have requested to SH that they permenantly ban Mark and all IP's he has used from his multiple accounts. Hopefully they will take action if enough legitimte users ask.
Hopefully other SH users will consider my thoughts and take action to force Mark to leave SH or follow the rules.
