RE:RE:RE:RE:Brian Acker's opinion

RE:RE:RE:RE:Brian Acker's opinionAcker's model is a funny one. It goes all over the place because it takes the accounting data and market data as given, not by what will come or what is anitcipated. Considering Concordia still has that big consolidation expense in the last quarter I am not sure his view is all that spot on. Also it sounded like in the video that he was humming and pawing at it. I think for his model its around a break even point or something. It also considers earnings for all of debt and equity equally I think... Economic Value Added is what he means by EVA. However, when leveraged if you make a loss the equity holder gets a magnified return. Kind of like owning a house on a mortgage and having 20% down vs. the whole home paid value price. So its not always the best view or worst view, its just a different view. Gilead really caught my eye because its ROE is 100%+ which is insane!!! Wholly doggy that's a beast ROE. Fears are more around what will happen when the patents comes off in two years, but at an ROE of that level I got to check it out.
