Yeah I do know why people keep expecting to hear an update on the sale process. If they are in negotiations with another party, they want to stay as silent as possible to avoid giving away their hand. I expect MT to start the call by saying "We have nothing further to add beyond the press release". Anything more or less may give away your hand.
I think given whats happened with all the speciality pharma (MSL, ENDO, NHC, and god awful VRX to some extent), I wouldn't be surprised at all regardless of the results, the stock tanks. The negative sentiment is beyond even the height of the financial crises. Whats that? MT said "hmmm" on the call. Stock tanks. Company made a great acqusition. Stock tanks.
