How many instances have you ever seen any entity getting sued in court for putting out misleading or false information for the purpose of pumping or bashing a stock despite numerous occurrences on a daily basis? Probably almost zero. There is nothing one can do to change it, unless the mentality of the panicky herd can be changed, which is an impossibility. The collateral damage are long-term retail investors.
