Him telling you the stock will go to single digits before vrx doesn't mean a thing. It doesn't guarantee that he has a short position right now. It could just be that he hates MT so much that he would never say a nice thing about him or his company. Cohodes has nothing to loose in talking trash. If he's wrong his reputation gets hurt a little. He isnt playing with other people's money, so I don't think he's worried about reputation. Most professionals don't call CEO's losers in public if reputation is at stake.
Cohodes pumpes you full of fear and blocks the terminator because he controls one and fears the other.
By by the way, I'm not positive but didnt Cohodes short Biovail aswell years ago? You would have trouble convincing me it's not at least a little personal between these two.
