RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:short squeeze coming in next week???Spot on Wordless. As Peter Hodson recently pointed out in a BNN interview:
How bad?
  • Currently trading at 2X earnings
  • Even if earnings miss for Q2 and you are half, you are still at 4X earnings
  • At quarter of earnings would be 8 X earnings

Whichever way you look at it, CRX is massivley undervalued.

I find it interesting too that suddenly, “valeant is a much more known quantity now” according to select1011. How many times have we heard shorts refer to CXR as the "mini-valeant" or the "baby valeant" and many comparisons made between the two as part of the short thesis, until now, when VXR's stock has made significant gains from it's 52 week lows.

If select1011 is representative of the shorts, then I would say the longs are in an excellent position right now if a lowered guidance on Friday is all they have got.

EBITDA will have a smaller impact but it may also be guided lower. I'm long by the way, and I believe the lower guidance is already priced into the stock. Unless someone is living under a rock, the lower guidance shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. But expect the shorts to jump on it anyways.

select1011 wrote: I doubt the shorts are running away. Yes, the quarter will have quirks and uglies that will substantiate the short thesis and fuel it. When management guides lower, well you know what that means. Any rise in the SP is a great opportunity for shorts. Way too many unknowns ahead for CXR - valeant is a much more known quantity now. DYODD.

EVERYBODY ,has short memories , every quarterly report is good, everybody  finds out how good a stock this is , shares go up in price 3 or 4 dollars and we are happy!  Then the B.S. starts all over again! THIS IS CXR!
