RE:So you think CXR paid too much for their drug rights? CORRECT!!! WAY OVERPAID!
Like 1/3 of it is "goodwill" which is "brand name". Well, that's fine and dandy if the pipeline was strong and the legacy drugs were strong but neither of them are!
There is no pipeline. This is not a pharma play, it's a merger and acquisition/street play! There is near zero R&D, the stuff that costs pharma a TON OF MONEY to create a pipeline!
The legacy drugs are not protected. They can be copied! When the majors have issues is counterfeits, do you really think that CXR has any protection? No. These drugs lost their patents because they are old! Sold of by big pharma who didn't want to support them.
"Pile of card" pros take those, jack up the prices, build some nice castles and BOOM some wise guy, ex-wall street turned organic egg farmer goes "WOW! What a PILE OF JUNK!"
Others follow going "WOW, it's so obvious now" and we have a FLAMING DUMPSTER filled with old pills on fire. The Regulators (aka firemen) are watching going, "you have to do due dilligence investors..." and let the thing burn out by itself.
Now, they might take some in custody to check who smells like fuel and who has a lighter in their pockets but that doesn't help the FLAMING DUMPSTER! It's melting.
