I think by writing them, it puts more pressure on them to actually form a general response to all the shareholders, probably in a public manner. If they get an overwhelming amount of emails/questions/concens they will (should) be forced to provide some kind of communication to the shareholders. I understand you point of view, but if you do not answer because you are protecting them, I just ask you , how they are protecting you??? Because the stock is down 20% in only 4 days! You invest your money there, it is fair enough to know their opinion about -20%!
