Shorts

Are the shorts starting to pile in?

I think that would be a big mistake on their part considering the smoke is clearing and everyone is sort of agreeing they have not committed any fraud even if they are associated with questionable sales practices. Most industries and politicians are guilty of some kind of sales and/or truth manipulations/price fixing, etc. Let he who casts the first stone... oh yeah he was guilty of fraud himself, ...more

i think the debt has taken over as the real issue

Seems like they can easily pay off the new debt over time with their increased cash flow projections. GLTA

Volumes are too low, risks to the upsides are too high.  This is just pro traders taking the massive profits from the sub 30s. Shorts appear to be going for the jugular on VRX and NHC but I see the whole sector as fighting back hard.  We have the CXR CEO on BNN this week and the pro "short and distort" hired pros at NHC delivering the verdict any day now. Too risky to sell ...more

Sure was a tight trading range on low volume today. I too had two buys in a bit lower thinking someone would trigger a few stops once this slid under 40. Did not happen today but if they want to loosen this up a bit again, will have to have some exciting n/r or hit the stops. History here of low volume after a run but we may have to get closer to the 1/2 million shares traded before that happens ...more

Pbay.... You're not in the stock , so you're just praying and hoping that it goes lower. That's a dangerous game as on one of these breakouts you will get left behind. It's ok if you didn't get in the low $30's , there is lots of money to be made from here, but hoping that it goes back to the low $30's again is like playing a game of chicken. I'd rather buy at $40 ...more

Capitulation is when a stock accelerates to the downside on high volume. We already had capitulation when it got to $30cad people couldn't believe it and it then went to $25.....that's classic capitulation. The last 2 days have been normal selling of people who bought on the capitulation, and those in for a quick buck are selling. Bullchart knows his stuff, but he said it might go to the ...more

The takedown to $25 was on huge volume.... That's classic capitulation

So you say bullchart knows his stuff but he is not predicting any deep lows like you are doing here. Still sounding like a shorter whether you are in it selling or looking for a crazy bargain. Healthcare was bouncing back in the US today. Why not follow that same trend on this side of the border? Go long make money - go short, get burned. Concordia is too good to short or selloff at $40. Are you ...more

Bullchart is bullish.  He's a pro trader, he would have sold to rebuy but like many of us, he doesn't want to miss the run from what I can tell.   Just like others that look at TA, we see the 36-38 support and some of us watch the ticker.  Wish I have better intraday tools.  Any retails out there want to share what they use to trade a stock like CXR?   You want ...more

Does anyone think we might have a head-shoulder bottom pattern? Neckline around $45, left shoulder around  $37, head around $25, and currently forming the right shoulder around $39. That gives an estimated target of $65. But seeing how CXR didnt have support around there on the way down, the resistance might come in early around $60 or super late around $90. Either way ...more
