I know what CXR guided

Sorry guys but this AMCO 2014 report caught me by surprise.
Why only 76M in profit with $450 rev.

Net income is not a proper measure of a company's abiulity to generate cash flow as it already takes into account interest expense, taxes, depreciation and amortization.  I believe EBIT is the more relevant measure to evaluate the potential impact of the AMCO acquisition on 2016 results.  At the end of the day, CXR forecasted in excess of $600 mm of EBITDA and in excess of $300 mm in ...more

Thanks for a different perspective. Cash flow is extremely emportant for CXR.

Fdfd12: I get the feeling that you are trying to cast doubt for your own personal gain. I may be wrong, but . . . anyways, you are trying to reconcile AMCo's 2014 actual results with 2016 CXR forecasts. Have you stopped to consider: 10 feb 15 AMCo launches Dexamethasone 10mg/5ml & 20mg/5ml SF Oral Solution x 50ml steroid. AMCo is delighted to announce the launch of two unique ...more

I don't know why everyone is trying to second guess Mt's forward guidance anyways. He has given us the numbers including AMCo. It's good to see the list of new products coming onstream contributing to sales growth as well as modest price increases, expansion of sales to new territories and savings of interest costs and/or acquiring new products by using remaining cashflows. Scruggy,I read your post on both boards.  I am just wondering why, out of $450US, only $76M was profit. That is all I have said. CXR has over 50% of revenues as profit. Last Q, 95M rev and 51M profit. I am saying this percentage from AMCO better imporve. That is all. Thanks

thats a very good question that deserves an answer.  But only by looking at the  new earnings will you get an answer.   I also would be interested in some speculative answers until then.  It is easy to assume negative assumptions but you can't get away from the facts that CXR has provided  foreward guidance that is very positive in spite of AMCO lower  trailing ...more

2016 forward guidance of ~US$6.50 is all you really need to know. The person who knows the inside of the numbers best and has the most to lose (large shareholder) if missed is the CEO MT. Look for surprise to the upside ... again.
