As far as I know it was just within the last two weeks. Trials to start in 2016.

Reads like original approval was for UK or EU market. New approval from FDA (US market). This may be an example of expanded geographical marketing, a result of now being a global company. Look for more of this. 1+1= 3.

I believe that this is a widely available drug that has been used to treat diabetes. The new study that just got approval by the FDA, is a first. It is not that AMCO has any exclusivity to this drug, but the thought that this trial may pave the way for humans to someday live 50+% longer, and that our company may be a player in the game, I thought to be interesting enough to post.
