Reason for the recent rally? 13Fs

I am curious if one of the reasons for the recent rally in the price isn't the13F's released showing two funds initiated large positions in CXR in the last quarter.

Westpac Banking Corp initiated a position of 1,500,000 shares (listed as $63,840,000 USD in filing). Link below:

Highbridge Capital Management initiated a position of 945,100 shares (listed as $40,223,000 USD in filing). Link below:

These are not small investments, representing about 5% of the company.

I haven't had time to scrape all the 13F's to see if anyone else initiated large positions or added to large positions, but if I do find any I will let you all know.

Nice find..thanks for sharing. One thing I've often wondred about is how large acquisitions like this could be executed without significantly driving up the sp.

I do not understand the SP these funds paid. $42+ seems quite high, per share? I have another holding where our Chairman bought 8.4M shares and paid LARGE, like a 20% higher price

13F shows market value of security as of the last day of the reported quarter. I do not think we know what price they purchased at.
