Yes! Likely lower by now, but certainly another source of buyers is welcome. Does any one know if a short exercised on Nasdaq can be covered on TSX? This is important as the trading volume on NQ is half that of TSX but most of the shorting is on NQ and will take longer to cover.

A share is a share. So you could cover a short position by buying a share on TSX and transfering it to close out your position.
