How to count Bio index points ?

Bio stocks earning are  satisfactory. Why bio index is always lower than others.How they calculate the points for index?

 Bio index was down, so was the stock, while s&p500, nasdaq, oil, was green.Problem was bio index NOT CXR. Watch NBI chart.

after 10 days of gains, CXR taking a breather (code for traders taking profit). Basically flat today on Nasdaq but the CD appreciation eats away at the conversion to show a larger loss on TSX. Annoying but a fact of life. SP will be supported (not a significant squeeze) by short covering in coming weeks IMO. After earnings, that is a different story.

Sunshine, CXR hasn't had 10 days of gains. You'd need to go back over 30 days to get 10 days of gains. CXR is still having 2 down days for every one up day. However this will soon change as we get closer to the March 24th. I strongly believe that the shorts will scramble out  before then.
