They made up the buy out so that the rpice ran to $40 and then they shorted again
to bring it down and now they are covering.

The CXR news release only says they formed a committe ot review, not to review the Blackstone
bid.
Could it be possible that Blackstone never put in an offer?

Blackstone Group LP is considering a takeover of listed Canadian pharmaceutical company Concordia Healthcare Corp., according to people familiar with the matter.

 

The buyout firm is in talks with Concordia about a potential transaction, the people said, asking not to be identified as the discussions are private. Talks are at an early stage and a deal may not happen, they said. Other bidders may also be interested in acquiring Concordia, they said.

I know fdfd12, please excuse me. Sometimes when I feel like crying I try to laugh.....it helps....so does CRESCENT STREET. If NHC hadn't come back for me, I would be fully depressed as I am in a big hole with CXR right now and looking for the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.

Could it be possible that Blackstone never put in an offer? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ It's 100% possible - Actually, it's very likley they did not put in a bid. Companies don't just put in a bid without doing detailed due dilligence (not reading analyst reports).
