Still cannot stay above $38.75 at close........

The market shows there is no conviction just yet. Longs like me need the patience while waiting for much higher prices.

I am not a pro or anything, but after the Fed minutes everything was nose diving, I think it did not too bad considering.. Tomorrow should be a better day..

If you draw your trendline off the last three tops it is aligning perfectly with another lower high. Its a 30% gain in less than week for traders so unless there is buying conviction in the next couple of days we are likely to continue to another lower low. I'm hoping we get a break on volume through this level but i won't hold my breath.

I would hope that there is buying conviction from short interests to at least adsorb the traders selling. The last ER and subsequent CC and threat of buy out should be supportive. Will they take a last kick at CXR? Surprise me, but the risk/reward for shorts does not seem to be there anymore in a normal functioning market. We are at the top of the trendline so i wouldn't be suprised to see the short level increase at this level as it did when the stock was over $40. It is likely to be a long road as there are ALOT of resistance levels so patience will be required. If we can't break the downtrend line be prepared for another wild swing in the wrong direction if traders start to bail.

We should get some new money from gold sector in next few days. It would be nice to sit at $40 for a few days. Cheers

85% of available stocks have been already shorted according to BNN people.. not sure how much more they can risk.. I would be chitting bricks if I were short here.. CB

sunshine7, that's an interesting obversation.  Bulls at BTE complain about the same thing because the stock should be trading at $10-15 today and it's only $6 Short term is really short generated frustration.  Ban shorting and all this nonsense would be over in an instant. People would trades parts of the company without having people "borrow" your investment to use ...more

Agreed with you on BTE, that's another beauty being held down.  Same as CXR.  They swallowed a huge acquisition in 2014 at the perfectly wrong time (oil glut formation). But as with CXR, it's that acquisition that has sustained them through the hard tme and it's that acquisition and is making a ton of cash now, just like CXR Don't name-call all traders please.   ...more
