Brexit vote is a farce

People forget that this vote is only ADVISORY! It means that the current government can remain even if the vote is YES. There has been no provisions made in case of a Yes viote so they are not obliged to honor it.

Face it, with such a narrow margin in the polls, this will never go through.

Since the brevity vote is only advisory, why doesn't the company release information? ??....the vote either way, is not binding. ...so whats the hold up??...if they have an offer they should release it....i always knew brevity had nothing to do with the stock plumetting

The vote might be "advisory" but in all practical sense, it will be implemented. A national referandum where the will of the people is not respected is the quickest way for poilticans to lose their careers. If the Brexit vote "yes', high probability that David Cameron steps down in near future with a Brexit individual taking over. So in all intents and purposes, the vote is ...more
