NO BUYOUT NO BUYOUT

all the buyout talk was nonsense...

its debt is more than manageable

it was a good stock to buy in on the cheap and hold for 6 months to a year

the strategic review had nothing to do with a buyout.....at least not one for less than 75$ cdn,....

if the debt is not an issue like bnn said...then why not continue on

TERMINATOR007...ROLLER007....WHERE ARE YOU NOW??? CATS CAUGHT YOUR TONGUE? i dont mean to attack you guys, but seriousely....50-58$ offer would only be accepted by a company in distress..... concordia may be un der a short attack...but fundamentally they are not broken, and the fact that they trade at such a discount to p/e is even better.... you both know there was no way a lowball offer like ...more

The buyout talk is probably not ''nonsense'' and it could still be on the table. We don't know yet. However, you're right that the 50$-58$ CAD supposedly offered price is absurd to begin with. If it was in USD, then maybe it would be considered. Like I said before, management would reject 50$ CAD outright since they know how much the SP is manipulated. 50$ CAD would be a ...more

But if the fundamentals are intact. ..and debt is not an issue then why would they even consider selling out???...i cant make sense of that....if they know yhe stock is manipulated by shorts....if they know the debt is managed. .if they know this ..then how did a buyout even become a topic? ?? To me this is just an undervalued company...plain and simple. ..

Its all about the master plan which needs funding to feed the global network. The best time to acquire these is when they are undervalued by the market, but unfortunately, so is CXR. More debt is not an option in the classic sense, share issue is also unwise at this time. Strategic options are debt restructuring or take it private. Either one may happen at any time.

Strategic options are debt restructuring or take it private. Either one may happen at any time. thats not a buyout though sunshine.....and the company cant take it private without offering a dcen price to shareholders.... debt restructuring ..maybe...but if they think they can pay it down the way things are now, then there is no need to retructure a working buisiness model

"no need to restructure a working business model" ... SP will struggle to significantly recover until debt ratios are down and sector sentiment returns. In the meantime, they would like access to capital before valuations make it less viable. This is IMO.

For the same reason any company is sold basically. If the premium on the equity is satisfying on a current and forward basis, the shareholders may want to cash in. Sometimes, it's also in the best interest of the company. If it can be run better by the acquirers than it is by the current management. The shorts did succeed in making the market sentiment go sour about CXR. It will take time to ...more

They would consider it as the Company wouold be easier and cheaper to manage as a private Company. They can just run the Company rather than having all these distractions with shareholders and the share price.

There is absolutely positively a buyout in the cards. There is no other out for this company, and the sole reason why I purchased cxrx. Just sit back and relax while you wait for the announcement.

REGARDLESS... I agree... They must have a good idea of the 2nd Q results .... And they won't sell on the cheap... $65 US  or no deal ... We'll do better in medium to longer term alone... But they could do something to make the debt look less of an issue.
