Looks like Merrill Lynch was the main reason for the spike today. Most others were net sellers.

Concordia waiting for a market lead from IBB, when the IBB jumps, Concorida will follow... We tried to go up last week, but IBB dropped (Clinton tweet), then next day it tired to go up and IBB ended lower again and pushed Concordia back to base. Today IBB trades slightly higher, but it crossed negative and that's when we broke below 8.90 on US side... It should close where it open, if IBB
