Someone bought a whack of CXRX shares (35.300) at 5.2248 (.1148) after hours. Either a really dumb move or a brilliant decision. You decide.

When shorts cover, it is seldom the sqeeeze everyone seems to think it is. It can be in large blocks after hours or hacysac bots trading during the day with mild upswings followed by the usual large drops. They can control things going up as well as down unfortunately. In time though, organic trading does reappear. I have seen companies far worse than this triple in a few months post covering and ...more

Let's see the next two short reports.  If it drops to the 5-6 million on Cxrx then there is hope here.  We need to see how much was covered in the Friday flush of 12 million shares traded.   Until October 10 I belive.

If the short position declines and the shareprice hasn't bounced its probably not good, just as the short position decreased by three million last report but the shareprice stayed in freefall. It would mean the shareprice is only being supported by short profit taking.  Get a pen and paper and calculate how long it would take to get debt to ebitda under 5 as most funds can't touch ...more
