Jumps ship? Or perhaps was let go...

...in a positive management shake-up.  Deathpool,  why do you presume to know which it was.

Because he was absent on the the q3 earnings call (highly unusual for a Graeme to stand in for him considering he is such a newbie to the company) and most importantly did not have any rsu's vested in November. So this tells me it has nothing to do with Oberman, who landed Nov 8th as ceo.   Seen this lots of times.  First it was the CFO, then the CEO now the President. This is mass ...more

Whether they left or were asked to leave, these guys were certainly not assets.  They created the whole goddamn mess.  The company may or may not survive their aftermath, but it will have a better chance without them.

It doesn't matter who is employed there anymore.  The debt has killed them, and they have old declining assets with photofrin out of the pipe.  Donnatal is on death's door.  OSC and the SEC have the information filed by Rosen Law firm on Friday, so it is only a matter of time before they announce an investigation of violation of SEC rules.  The pricing pressure and the ...more

Oh and did I mention insider selling by key executives and ten directors/officers exercising all of their vested restricted share units for cash November 25th?

You seem to think that I am one of those people who bought this thing months ago and is waiting for a return to its former glory.  I am not.  I am new to the stock and only became interested when it hit its recent lows.  I understand the all that has gone on, but I think that the long position at this point is interesting, albeit definitely a gamble.  I don't have my head ...more

No problem, I don't want to argue on a bullboard.  Best of luck, it could bounce a bit before it eventually goes into the centsies.

DeathPool ... I now understand why you call yourself this, always thinking things are dying! The fact is when many new CEO's take the helm they "clear the decks" of executives that they don't feel compliment their style or they feel will not make them successful. They put people in place that they know will make them successful, that's the art of being a good CEO, and getting ...more

Thanks. Not sure why you're spending time on this bullboard trying to convince yourself not to buy shares. I suggest you move on to another board where you may be able to provide some value. I for one am looking forward to seeing what new management can do. Short sellers can only beat this stock up for so long then it won't be worth it to them and they'll move on to another company, as ...more

Posters like you actually motivate me to post here.  I am fascinated by Bagholder psychology. Best for you in the new year as well.

Really?  Can you name me a few companies (actually I'd just take one !) that has had a CFO, CEO and a President all leave in a five month period?    Thanks!

Allan Oberman has to ask himself just one question....would you rather go into this... The CMA is investigating suspected unfair pricing in the supply of certain pharmaceutical products under Chapter II CA98/Article 102 TFEUOctober 2016 Investigation openedOctober 2016 to February 2017 Initial investigation, information gathering, including issuance of formal or information requests and parties ...more

Someone please provide clarification; Usually when one company buys another, the other company in this case Cinven, assumes all liability associated with their actions prior to the sale? Who is on the hook here? Concordia or Cinven????? How can Concordia be held accountable for criminal activity performed prior to their purchase? Surely, the BOD at Cinven have a Directors and Officers Insurance ...more

Consider an indemnity agreement Even if you and your team have gone over every piece of documentation, you could still be liable for something the seller did or failed to do before handing over the business. You can protect yourself by getting an indemnity agreement from the seller, promising to be responsible for any unforeseen liability that could arise for a period of time after the sale ...more

I'm guessing you don't have access to what CXRX's 7% and 9.5% bonds are trading at or the first lien noteholders?  Over the holidays I'm checking for a 8-K dump over the holidays with this special company.  Maybe you should be too.
