Finally some good info.

Thanks Metoo.  I am asumming there will be a halt in trading prior to an announcement. Still trying to figure out when to average down. Currently have a position(too much) at $13.80. I have the funds and the resources and the balls to bust that in half, somewhere around $6.50.
Curious if you think this is worth throwing the dough at?

Let's put it this way: In my opinion -- and it's only an opinion -- every share that you buy at CAD$0.70 or thereabouts, you will make money on.  But here are my assumptions, stated in the most conservative way. 1.  Through the restructuring they eliminate approximately $2B in debt; 2.  The book value of the company immediately jumps by at least $2B dollars to something in ...more

lucky you are gambling.  If you want to touch this dog buy the secured notes. If current shareholders retain 25% of the restructured company - there will be rioting amongst the note holders.  There is not enough room at the trough. Good luck whatever you decide

Rad10, any rioting is already over, since the deal -- for better or worse -- is already done.  There would have been no court filing if that were not the case. Most of the unsecured noteholders paid single or low double digit cents on the dollar for their notes.  They make a killing even if, as a group, they get significantly less than 75% of the equity.  There is no reason why ...more
