NVU,UN and D.UN are in two totally different businesses.  One is mostly residential, the other office (business) rentals.

We own both.

We have owned NVU for years, back in the day ity was called Northern Properties.

We recently sold CRR.UN (at a good profit) when it went above $15 to buy D.UN for the extra 1.9% yield.

We expect Dream may be a laggard for a few years until the price of oil returns to "normal" (whatever that is) and business starts renting again in Alberta.  Considering the distribution is "safe", I do not mind holding while getting 7.85% (in TFSA)

I still might pick up some NVU if it pulls back a bit. I like it anywhere under $20/share
