Ever think that the reason why the big chain theaters (i.e. AMC and Regal) didn't start installing DBOX seats yet is because they were working on first switching over 50% of their seats to loungers? Theaters can only do so many things at once as they have only so much CapEx they can deploy in a budget year without going broke. That is why D-Box created a lounger seat 2 years ago.....because they saw the shift going that way and is the ONLY motion seat manufacturer that makes a La-Z-Boy style chair. 4DX does not. So if theaters want to offer even more in their VIP lounges, they now can. Dummy.
In fact, these loungers have been sold to Cobb Theaters, some in Russia and some in Hong Kong in the past.
