Premium under 3%

Premium is low for a paying split. Appears that many anxious investors are sitting on the fence waiting for the actual distribution announcement, at which point they will chase it higher. Today's strong market opening will only help to add to the NAV.

Well I'm not waiting ... I hold equal amounts of FTN and DGS in my margin account, but I swapped all my FTN in my TFSA to DGS as soon as I saw flamigogold's post showing the $15.10 NAV.

I didn't wait until this morning to buy.  I knew the premium was next to nothing so I sold my BK in my TFSA which is at a 30% Premium and bought a whole boatload of DGS at an average price of $5.10.  Looks like my instincts are going to paid off.

I ad some cash laying about so when my spreadsheet was showing around $15.10 yesterday i grabbed 3500 shares @ $5.14 average. I actually liked the changes in the DGS portfolio... more lifecos than banks in the top 15...
