Div might still be possible

I found it strange that they didn't mention DGS in the press release, but then I remember that they did this once last year and then came out with a second release saying that DGS was paying (and it was similarly on the fence).  So we might still get lucky here.

Yes that would explain not mentioning dgs.  Late announcement seems likely since nav has risen since the print.

Where can I find the news release that doesn't mention DGS? I do remember the previous time when they issued a 2nd release indicating DGS was paying. I am hopeful that is the case now as well.

Thank you for the link! And no: in accordance with its articles of incorporation in order to preserve the net asset value, the distribution for the month of May (in this case July)will not be paid on the Class A shares of Dividend Growth Split Corp. There is hope a 2nd distribution announcement is forthcoming for DGS but if Brompton double clutches again like that it seems very unprofessional.

Tp pay or not to pay is the question.  I am inclined to hold because the NAV is well above their threshold.  If they don't pay in Aug then they will pay in Sept and if their NAV continues to improve,  its all good.  Today we have a knee jerk selling response but I think patience will still be rewarded with more cap gains and a div by Sept.

Don't think your going to see that this time around. It's too late. Even today's news release is technically late as it should have been released before market open this morning. I did some research over the weekend and rules for announcing dividends and/or distributions is that the news must be released with a FULL FIVE TRADING DAYS BEFORE the RECORD DATE. When they announced today ...more
