Distribution

I am I correct in reading that DGS missed the cut?

I believe you're wrong.   But we will hear from Brompton shortly to confirm the distribution for January.

My apologies! I was reading last months announcement. GLTA

They never announce before the 22nd or 23rd of any month so not sure where you could have seen that. Go for the truth by visiting their website Brompton funds.com

I'm not seeing it - where in that announcement do they note Dec 17th? Or is implied by the payment date of Jan 16? (And I think the question was: When does Brompton announce? - which last year was Dec 21st)
Comment by mouserman on Dec 19, 2023 3:37pm
They used an earlier date, i remember it quite clearly because has they used the 20th,  monday close DGS would have missed. The week between DEC 23rd and NEW years there is only 3 trading days, and those who calculate the UNIT NAV take that week off.
Comment by AnEducator on Dec 19, 2023 4:31pm
TSX regulations require an announcement be made at least five trading days before the record date. This means tomorrow is the deadline for announcements unless Brompton is ambivalent towards regulations.

I'm expecting announcements from quadravest too, hoping LFE and FFN will pay.
Comment by mouserman on Dec 20, 2023 10:50am
Those 2 will pay the big bucks to preferreds , but nothing to commons. On Dec 15th UNIT NAV for  FFN was @$14.73  and LFE was @ $14.64
Comment by Arathoon1 on Dec 19, 2023 5:29pm
If the numbers are there and Brompton doesnt pay and decide to have cut off date earlier because of holidays they will loose all credibility! the main objective in these dividend stocks is to try and pay there share holders!!!
Comment by mouserman on Dec 20, 2023 10:52am
I suspect it will be tomorrow, and the real question is which date they use. It could be anywhere from DEC 14 to Dec 19.. and they would still have time for a DEC 21 announcement.
