RE: I'd love to hear this news:

RE: I'd love to hear this news:Smallblock, we'd all love to see a buyer , but I doubt it will be a huge premium in the present sp, right now the whole market stinks, tsx up 100 and down 150 the next day and so on, JMHO the market needs investors with new money that bid a stock up. It isn't happening yet. If you look at the housing market in the USA, there are still lots of mansions foreclosed, up for sale at a 100k.  Tells me that the economy isn't exactly rolling along, thus no extra dough to gamble with=not much new money in stocks=stagnant sp. That I believe goes with any stock this summer . So why would a takeover player bid , say 1.50 per share on shore , when its trading .70  I would think a good price for a takeover  would likely be in the .90 range now, which isn't satisfying my thurst right now. Especially when 8 months ago, or so it was @ 1.68
Bottom line is , the market just stinks .If I had my original investment back, I'd pull out altogether. Pretty disheartening, but I can't see any other reason for such a crappy sp . And that goes for many stocks that I'm following. Seems a company will come out with spectacular news that would propel a stock 100% in a day , and now it might zoom to  5-10% at closing or even drop. T'aint like she was 4 years ago.
We await  for the payday, but who knows when? I hope things perk up soon.
