Bad Quarter

Well that was a terrible quarter. Hopefully this is finally a bottom but tthese guys just can't seem to get a handle on things. EVery quarter it's a new excuse. This time it's the US dollar. Now they are loaded with inventory going into a slowdown. The Juvenile division sales growth was a pleasant surprise. Only hope we have short term is for a surprie sale of home or juvenile or better yet the whole company.

I didn't think it was a bad as that. They are not alone in the retail industry with challenges at the moment, and sales are still strong. The margins will improve, and share price will follow. Just requires some patience..!!

The inventory build is not good and right in time for a slowdown in spending. The buildup will have to be unwound and that will put pressure on margins if they have to discount. Every quarter seems to be something wrong. This is been happening for years now. I continue to hold but the only reason is the hope of a sale at a good price.
