RE:Looking for REIT buying ideas!your list can expand now since prices have come down and yields have gone up. 


SMU.UN is a good one. 
RIT - ETF  and ZPR - ETF and IDR - ETF are pretty good options if you do not want to buy single stocks. 

not too many industrial reits left in town. 

I hold DIR / SMU and WIR.U 

also have good exposure to the apartment reits both in Canada and US (sunshine belt). 


A lot of the companies below are pretty small. If you want to lock in the yield and not worry about the price - none of them are going bankrupt in my opinion.
