RE:Looking for REIT buying ideas!
RE:Looking for REIT buying ideas!your list can expand now since prices have come down and yields have gone up.
SMU.UN is a good one.
RIT - ETF and ZPR - ETF and IDR - ETF are pretty good options if you do not want to buy single stocks.
not too many industrial reits left in town.
I hold DIR / SMU and WIR.U
also have good exposure to the apartment reits both in Canada and US (sunshine belt).
A lot of the companies below are pretty small. If you want to lock in the yield and not worry about the price - none of them are going bankrupt in my opinion. sandysouci wrote: I'm looking to re-deploy some cash after the market correction...
as a former holder of DIR/UN, I'm wondering if it's still one of the better REITS, or is there something better to buy right now?...
looking for: yield of 5% or more, monthly payout frequency, Canadian
the group that I'm considering includes (in random order):
TNT/UN
BTB/UN
NXR/UN
PRV/UN
SRT/UN
INO/UN
MRT/UN
HR/UN
APR/UN
NWH/UN
SRU/UN
PLZ/UN
CRR/UN
CHP/UN
DIR/UN
CUF/UN
what are your favourites, and are there any to stay away from?...
thank you!
