RE:RE:RE:I have 2 questions Yes that is exactly what's going on.

The last time I reported (stock was CHW) I gave them three days of history that were quite clear what was happening (dissolution of large orders into sequences of 100 to draw share price away from anyone trying to fill a sizable order). The scheme was still active days later, so IIROC did nothing.

If anyone doesn't know how the scheme works:  Someone with an on-exchange-premises server sees your order come in, modifies a 'bait' order (far more than 100) to leave 100 at the price you saw and pulls the rest one cent away (before your order is filled by the exchange), hoping you'll chase after the new price. You modify your order to a penny worse, but only get another 100, and this repeats for as long as you keep chasing. "Someone" is actually a program, because it needs to happen faster than a human can do it. And it's illegal in Canada.

Your local library might have "Flash Boys" by Michael Lewis. It describes front-running and other details of certain trading scams.

Anyone else notice that up until early afternoon today every single time someone bought into the ask at 2.79 someone sold 100 lot block into the 2.78 bid holding this at 2.78 for hours? Cheers DIV shareholders!

It does seem odd.  The posters and the trading.  It just took me three days to fill 10,000 shares at $2.79.
