ANNOUNCES JANUARY 2021 DIVIDEND AND REINSTATEMENT OF DRIP

Diversified Royalty Corp. will pay a cash dividend of 1.667 cents per common share for the period of Jan. 1, 2021, to Jan. 31, 2021, which is equal to 20 cents per common share on an annualized basis. The dividend will be paid on Jan. 29, 2021, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Jan. 15, 2021.
 
Reinstatement of dividend reinvestment plan (DRIP)
DIV also announced today that the board of directors of the corporation approved the reinstatement of the DRIP, commencing with the dividend payable to shareholders in respect of the month of January, 2021. Shareholders who were enrolled in the DRIP at the time of its suspension and have not subsequently withdrawn will automatically resume participation in the DRIP.

Drip question .  How do you get the drip . I have Owenes Div for about 4 months now so will I get it or is it something you need to be grandfathered into ?  Also what is it  and how much does it pay?

You have to set it up with whatever institution you use to trade, instead of paying you money you recieve shares equivalent to your dividend payment only theres a slight discount on the shares, I prefer the cash rather than odd numbers of shares, I also prefer the cash because maybe something else is a better value at the time or just let the cash add up for awhile. My thoughts on the payout exactly, my first reaction was that maybe they are using this to conserve cash, apparently the market likes it
