Sure they have salaries like everyone else, but their main cost of production is electricity, which is regulated in Manitoba. And due to their vertigal integration, they control their own means of production. Meanwhile, their debt is eaten up by inflation, and they can raise prices to cover any increases is operating costs (just like any other company).
