The Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, José Luis Silva Martinot, a notarized letter sent to regional president of Cajamarca, Gregorio Santos, in response to this he sent a few days ago stating that it had made ??"false statements, insulting, defamatory and intimidation "in a TV program.

In the recent letter, the minister stated that Santos challenged statements "are justified in the truth." "In no time I referred to the region and less to the extraordinary people as terrorists Cajamarca. I reiterate that all my comments are related to the gross mismanagement that you made ??during his tenure, "he said.

In that sense, it was confirmed that the management of Santos has been extremely negative for the economy Cajamarca, "comparable only to the dire consequences of the Shining Path".

"The drop in production, tourism, private investment, education, health and employment do but ratify the enormous damage caused to the population that will delayed its development," he added. (bottom lines reproduce every single detail that questioned the Minister ) *

He expressed his admiration and respect for the people of Cajamarca, "that despite the difficult circumstances goes on." "That is why I called him to set aside his attitude and become a promoter actual development of Cajamarca," he said.
