I never said the word rip off. As the reply said, they want a great deal, all legal and with good relations with local people. But who cares about us? Not F... they dont hate us, just want to pay 2 cents not 7 as the other poster said... I agree.
F is a great company, but I'd rather have them chase us with some competition than us chasing them.... they are in the driver's seat.
I think we should vote no. If you voted yes you can change it.
But I only know what is public... maybe I am wrong and that 5% wont change anything,... but to me it is logical that you want them not in control. That is the very reason that the rules make it hard to go over 10 and 20%... because it's a big advantage! That's we get a vote.... it is all we have to fight but they know most wont bother.
They should be paying 25 cents for that at least... and then we'd be trading there, and a better starting point. Crazy to give it away like this! IMO
shareholders are hoping for a $320m buyout, $1 per share or 2 cents per pound of copper in the ground. For this stock to get a $1 share buyout it will need to trade at 70 cents. Right now it is trading at 16 cents and dropping.
Even at a 100% premium F could walk away with 16b pounds of copper for 32 cents. Incredible.
Shareholders need to get rational about the buyout that is currently possible. It is not a miserable $1 per share, which is 30% the average recent buyouts. It may be as low as 32 cents.
DNT needs money to do some marketing to get a decent company to take some DECENT interest in the resource. F is not helping us, it is helping itself to the spoils.
There has been comments about other reputable companies perhaps being interested. We need marketing to these companies, not more drilling. We need to get the share price up to something representative of the resource value. I dont see what drilling will do to the share price. We have 16b pounds and no one is interested except a certain vulture.
Do you want to give F to farm for 32 cents? VOTE NO. We will never get $1 a share with this trading at 16 cents. Be realistic.
Management may want to think about marketing. VOTE NO.
