The Company’s Marine segment consists of boats, pontoons, jet boats and outboard engines and related PA&A and other services. Its portfolio of products includes Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles, Sea-Doo watercraft and pontoons, Can-Am on and off-road vehicles, Alumacraft and Quintrex boats, Manitou pontoons and Rotax marine propulsion systems, as well as Rotax engines for karts and recreational aircrafts.

The company needs its cash to put into R & D, so it can gain revenue, then earnings. The world is making strong in roads into battery powered products and brp is far behind. This will ruin them, but they are naive. They want cash. What they dont realize is the sports performance (acceleration) that battery powered products will make will tender gas powered products completely obsolete. I still own shares of brp inc, not much. I would be really encouraged if they made a bigger merger to get into battery tech.i know there was an article that they were going to, but it was on the micro scale. They need a big partnership with a battery maker.
