The big short(Steve Eisman) Last night, i was listening to A CNBC tv show(Fast money).
The host (Melissa Lee) was interviewing 4 of the stars that were portrayed in the film The Big Short.
These guys were right in forseing the colapse of the 2007-2008 financial housing bubble and
financial crisis that resulted.
Melissa Lee ask Steve Eisman who made more than 1 billion with there swap
"Steve are there any trade today that you have as strong in conviction as you did back then.
His answer was"Infrastructure play. The US goverment will be investing 1.2 trillion$ over
the next 10 years in this sector"
And that is only the portion of the goverment. Can you imagine all of the private sector investments(New factory, warehoses, high rises, new sports stadium...)
A good chunk of DRX sales are in the US and will be a good benieficiary of all of these needed
infrastructure investment.
We are only in the first inning, the best is yet to come.
