09:49 AM EST, 01/18/2022 (MT Newswires) -- D2L Inc. (DTOL.TO), a digital learning company, said on Tuesday it has appointed Stephen Laster as Chief Operating Officer.

Laster will join D2L on Jan. 24 and will lead its product and services teams, the company said.

Laster has 25 years of experience in digital transformation, product development, and technology enablement. Most recently, he led product direction and strategy at Ellucian, a software and service provider for higher education.

Previously, Laster held senior roles at Penn Foster, which provides career-focused training programs. He was also Chief Digital Officer at McGraw-Hill Education and Chief Information Officer at Harvard Business School.
