Encana is an independent oil and gas producer with key assets in the Permian, Eagle Ford, Montney, and Duvernay areas. At the end of 2018, the company reported net proven reserves of 726 million barrels of oil equivalent. Net production averaged 361 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2018 at a ratio of 43% oil and natural gas liquids and 57% natural gas.

Like I said. Another monstrous hedging loss to be reported on Thursday will kick OVV between the legs.  Can't say you weren't warned.  Who said next stop $100?

That number will be big. So will free cash flow. Will be interesting to see what they have done to manage the rising proces over the alst Q and for the next few Q's.  In this case risk management means opportunity squandering. That is not always the case.  Hedging always looks bad in rising price environment. And not being hedged always looks bad in falling price environment.  ...more
