I added as well.  For the price to remain flat after this announcement would mean ECN did not get a premium for their Service Finance business.  That makes zero sense to me given the sale ...more

I did some reading and listened to their investor call... the math is ex-dividend you are getting the other half (of which Triad is an affordable housing piece) for $3.50 and the first half being sold ...more

No expert - but the business they sold represents over half the revenue of ECN - so guess what is going to happen when it goes ex dividend.
