i count 8

not sure why these guys always have errors in the releases
A) February has 29 days this year so why not wait until the end to disclose February numbers
B) Jan 30 release enrollment ws 85...Feb 28 enrollment is 93  therefore i count 8 patients

There is a plausible way it works.  It sort of hurt my brain figuring it out though.  The key is looking at January 30th PR (85 patients), and the February 5th PR (88 patients).  So 3 patients enrolled in 6 days, 2 of those days were in January, and 4 of those days were in February.  So of those 3 patients, 2 enrolled in late January, and 1 enrolled in early February. ...more

Hi BlueJays.  Lots of great stuff going on.  I still believe that Vantive will make an offer for Spectral as part of their IPO.  Seems more probable than not to me.  The valuation for Vantive is USD$8 per Forbes. Given PMX is the potential sizzle for Vantive what do you think an offer might be should one happen?  Obviously we all guess from time to time.  Just ...more

Hey AP, I personally put a lot more value on an early exit than I think most on SH does.  I also believe that there are more than just one way to skin a cat or get to the final price shareholders feel they deserve.   My preferred way for things to unfold is that Baxter/Vantive buys PMX pre-Vantive IPO and Spectral shareholders get Vantive shares.  I'd love for this to ...more

Hi BlueJay.  Thanks for your valuation - US$3.50 to US$6.00.  I concur that range is fairly realistic especially if Vantive takes us out early,  I also think that'll happen as signs point that way. But love to be wrong on value and receive the higher range put forward by others.  Cheers!

Hey AP, oh good I'm glad you weren't off put by my valuation, just trying to be realistic on an early buyout as you said.  I too would love to have a higher range, but hey, it's not like we've got Ely Lilly and their 700B market cap sniffing around us.  Baxter's no slouch, but they ain't that kind of monster, but they are our best fit, the machine (Prismax), the ...more

As the updates are staggered this is plausible.   I'd say they clearer marcation is post Jan 10th. from Jan 10th to today we've seen the rapid enrollment increase - 11 enrolled in 48 days. And we got a pretty mushy, non-scientific answer as to the reason for the sudden rate increase. Jan 10th was also the timing of a lot of conversations re: Baxter accessing the Tigris data ...more

Good point, 11 patients divided by 48 days, equals .23 patients/day. .23 patients/day times 30 days, equals 6.875 patients/month. If you add 4 more sites or 20% more sites, this monthly number goes to 8.25 patients/month. 57 more patients needed divided by 8.25 patients/month, equals 6.9 months.

Seven months takes us to September If Baxter wants to juice Vantive with something exciting, it's possible that they choose to delay the IPO for a couple of months.  Although that strategy may be risky in terms of the general markets which are crying for an interest rate reduction. Whether they get one or not, the economy is likely to go into a recession at or around the time of the ...more

At 90 patients Tigris was 60% enrolled, at 105 patients Tigris will be 70% enrolled, at 120 patients Tigris will be 80% enrolled, at 135 patients Tigris will be 90% enrolled, at 150 patients Tigris will be fully enrolled. Each of these levels represents a degree of confidence, a probability number, that tell you the odds of this ARR holding true all the way until the end results. So say for ...more

All true  but the final milestone payment is a function of the ARR.  So too, I dare say, any buyout would/should/could be a function of the final ARR as well. Why? Because ARR dictates what the market price will be for PMX.  In theory, no one knows that figure until the raw data is run through the mill with the statistician geeks. And no one truly knows the final outcome until ...more

All true  but the final milestone payment is a function of the ARR.  That final milestone payment was put in place in early 2020 when the orginal distribution agreement deal was signed and has zero influence on today.  So too, I dare say, any buyout would/should/could be a function of the final ARR as well. Why? Because ARR dictates what the market price will be for PMX.  ...more

MM you don't get tired speaking to yourself? Tired last night and forgot which account you were signing from?
Comment by mercedesman on Feb 29, 2024 8:50am
Sorry to disappoint you BSw but I've only ever had one identity on SH , unlike the FUD community of players here.  Besides BJ is far too ornery and impatient to be me. I'm more of the easy going type.   MM
