Here's the bottom line...tarrifs or subsidies..Trump cannot mandate $55 uranium. He could still impose tarrifs or decide to subsidize the industry like the Post Office. A subsidy would probably require congressional approval and be in the budget. (more waiting and in fighting)
Maybe nationalize the entire industry whatever is left of it? Build government processing plants and take over the mines running them like the Post Office? I doubt it.
So some kind of "life support" is probably the outcome. A small tarrif as a compromise. Big deal.

I maintain that no US uranium miner is worth the risk now. Move on. Gold miners are where it's at. There's not going to be any windfall here for a long time.
