My thought on Graphite

I am very disappointed with our SP since the FS. I like to numbers, and am not sure what other people think about it. Graphite is abundent, there are so many juniors trying to jump on the graphite band wegan. The problem is there are too many companies, and there are limited demand (not like many analysis promoted). Like the two Aussi companies Sarah and Magnit, their production targets are way too high, if they are in production, they will flood the graphite market, fck themselve as well, similar to iron ore and coal right now. Right now, it is racing to the market, who gets the financing and build the mine first, who will have the huge advantage to prevent others to enter into the market. Any juniors who are still in the exploratory stages, will not be able to make it and will be left in the dust. EGZ still has chance, depending on how capability the management team are, hope they can sign off-take soon. I am long on EGZ, the only graphite investment I have. Good luck to all. tiger

I agree with you on the getting the offtakes and financing JV's signed SOON , in my opinion the longer it goes on without any deals in place then the less of a chance of ever gettiing a mine built, it.'s hard to believe of the selling pressure at present time . JMHO

That was disappointing because the China shutdown was supposed to free up 90,000 tpa. Syrah does not have an FS and they plan to be operational in 2016. I'm not convinced this is feasible at this point, it seems too fast, but they have a legally-binding off-take ...more
