RE: possible reason for lack of interest

RE: possible reason for lack of interestActually, you're buying the assets minus rights to 100% of their distrubtions. EIT's mandate is to do what they like with the money received - either pay it out to unit holders, reinvest it in the fund, or pay management expenses. All in all, you're thinking about it the wrong way, Stooge. If you're only interested in the pure distributions, buy the underlying units. If you're interested in the active management and deferred capital gains through ROC, buy EIT. Oh, EIT can also borrow at prime - 0.5%, so you're getting some rights to that leverage.
