Eastern Platinum Limited owns directly and indirectly a number of platinum group metals (PGM) and chrome assets in the Republic of South Africa. It is engaged in re-mining and processing of tailings at the Crocodile River Mine (CRM) and the exploration and development of other PGM and chrome properties located in various provinces in South Africa. All of the Company's properties are situated on the western limb (Crocodile River Mine) and eastern limb (Kennedy's Vale, Spitzkop, Mareesburg) of the Bushveld Complex, the geological environment that hosts approximately 80% of the PGM-bearing ore. Operations at the Crocodile River Mine include re-mining and processing its tailings resource to produce PGM and chrome concentrates from the Barplats Zandfontein tailings dam. Its six PGMs are platinum, palladium, rhodium, osmium, iridium and ruthenium. The Kennedy’s Vale and Spitzkop Project are situated on the Eastern limb of the Bushveld Complex 350 kilometers northeast of Johannesburg.

TORONTO — Some of the most active companies traded Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (13,712.62 up 160.63 points):

OptiCanada Inc. (TSX:OPC). Oil and gas. Down 24 cents, or 34.78 per cent,at 45 cents on 29,512,013 shares. The junior oilsands company's sank toits lowest level in its history after it hired advisory firm LazardFreres & Co. to help in strategic review process, which could leadto sale of the company, among other options.

Eastern Platinum Ltd. (TSX:ELR). Miner. Down 14 cents, or 8.75 per cent, at $1.74 on 14,749,855 shares.

Uranium One Inc. (TSX:UUU). Miner. Up 24 cents, or 3.66 per cent, at $6.79 on 14,375,960 shares.

CyberplexInc. (TSX:CX). Online publishing and marketing company. Up two cents,or 10.53 per cent, at 21 cents on 8,078,985 shares. The Toronto-basedcompany's shares closed to its lowest level not seen since January 2003.Last month, it warned that fourth-quarter earnings would come in at thelower end of guidance.

Bombardier (TSX:BBD.B). Transportation equipment. Up 21 cents, or 3.68 per cent, at $5.91 on 7,669,164 shares.

Lundin Mining Corp. (TSX:LUN). Miner. Up 41 cents, or 5.72 per cent, at $7.58 on 6,389,902 shares.

TSX Venture Exchange (2,301.99 up 27.44 points):

IntertainmentMedia Inc.(TSXV:INT). Marketing services. Up 22.5 cents, or 102.27 percent, at 44.5 cents on 48,251,093 shares. The company's stock continuedto rise for a second day in a row. Last week, Intertainment said that Ortsbo.com, its social media translation platform, continues to outpace the first-year growth of Facebook.

CirrusEnergy Corp. (TSXV:CYR). Oil and gas exploration. Up five cents, or4.67 per cent, $1.12 on 16,779,120 shares. The board of Cirrus says itsboard has agreed to a $102-million takeover offer from Netherlands-basedOranje-Nassau Energie B.V. The Dutch company is offering $1.15 pershare.

Detour Gold Corp.(TSX:DGC). Miner. Up $1.87, or 7.16 per cent, at $28 on 1,772,593 sharesafter reporting that reserves at its proposed Detour Lake mine are 31per cent bigger than reported in an earlier estimate. The project isalready one of North America's largest gold deposits.

LinamarCorp. (TSX:LNR). Auto parts. Up 10 cents, or 0.47 per cent, at $21.22 on66,609 shares. The Guelph, Ont.-based company reached an agreement tobuy three commercial and industrial divisions of the Famer Group ofFrance for an undisclosed amount.

Scotiabank (TSX:BNS). Bank. Up97 cents, or 1.72 per cent, at $57.43 on 3,391,662 shares as the bankannounced that it completed its acquisition of DundeeWealth Inc.(TSX:DC.A). It now holds 97 per cent of the wealth management firm.

Wi-LANInc. (TSX:WIN). Technology licensor. Down 18 cents, or 2.72 per cent,at $6.44 on 3,663,615 shares. The Ottawa-based company said it likelywon't go to trial over several patent disputes as it expects to reachsettlements with a number of companies, some of which are Apple, Dell,Hewlett Packard and Sony, it alleged were using its technology withoutpermission.
