RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Could this be it?The Electrovaya infinity battery has eliminated the need for swapping like the old liquid lead acid batteries in forklifts. That is one of their advantages, increased operating time. It looks like Sumitomo is contemplating battery swapping for large construction equipment or mining equipment. Mining equipment would be my guess. I believe that would be something new.
Another thought is Gogoro's battery swapping has nothing to do with Electrovaya. "It’s hard to overstate Sumitomo’s magnitude, owning over 900 subsidiary companies with 80,000 employees.
