RE:RE:RE:RE:Toyota Material Handling electrification

RE:RE:RE:RE:Toyota Material Handling electrification When Toyota announced the R&D Center in the Rochester, NY area I thought it was for Energy Storage-- ESS systems.  Raymond has developed one and also most likely could use some enhancements.  It does make sense that it would also be used for material handling.  Toyota has announced a new addition to their existing manufacturing site in Columbus, Indiana.  They will be hiring 85 new employees.  They will be using existing employees as they move from ICE MH vehicles to EV based MH vehicles.  It is interesting that R&D will be in NY and the production factory in Indiana.  Indiana makes sense as they cah use the existing facilities and employees.  NY makes sense because that is close to where the battery modules will be assembled and close to Electrovaya engineers.  I can see the switch over process taking a couple of years.
Just think Raymond and Toyota, two of the largest material handling OEMs in the World are Electrovaya customers with more customers signing up now in Japan.
