"He refused both Germany and Japan's request to purchase Canadian LNG"

This is the typical right wing misinformation and propaganda plaguing our society. Trudeau never refused these requests. Germany pulled out because they realized Canada could not build a LNG facility within the time frame that they need.  Just look at the LNG facility in Kitimat as an example -- the regulatory application process for the Kitimat LNG Project began in 2009 and the project is under construction now and not expected to start production until 2027-28. That is a span of 18 years from the planning stage to production. And the reason why it is taking so long to build this LNG facility is because of immense resistance from residents of BC as they do not want their pristine coastlines industrialized.  It has very little to do with the feds.  The problem with exporting of oil & gas in this country is not because of the feds -- it is because the main supplier of the resource is located in a landlocked province and to get the resource to tidewater requires building more pipelines and other infrastructure in other provinces who do not want this infrastructure.
