Gas Powered Vehicles Mandated To Be Phased Out By 2035

The end of the road is coming for gas-powered vehicles in Canada.

New regulations being published this week by Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault will effectively end sales of new passenger vehicles powered only by gasoline or diesel in 2035.

That's  a  big  maybe       if   conservatives  come in   those targets will be pushed way  back    even if they don't   there  will not  be  anywhere enough charging  capacity   esp in rural/remote  regions,    perhaps   focus more on hybrids

It's also a big "IF" for the conservatives being elected.  Canadians have already proven three times in a row that they're not the sharpest pencils in the drawer when it comes to electing leaders to run this country. There's no guarantee the voters in Can-Er-DUH vote Boy Blunder in for a fourth term...
