Hey Fiddy
I'm a huge outdoors guy so it's great to see that you peel yourself away once in a while.
As for me, I either walk with my wife or go for a run every day we're in town. I also ride my stationary bike, lift weights, and stretch almost every day. My wife and I also do two 3 week camping/hiking trips per year along with a number of shorter local ones. We also see our grandkids parts of 3 days per week.
I've also done tons of endurance races over the years including ultra-marathons, marathons, half-marathons, 10Ks, x-c skiing, speed skating, road biking, summer triathlons, winter triathlons, etc.
As an aside, I don't have a smartphone or even a cell phone so whenever I leave the house, I am totally detached from all of it (including on those 3 week trips where I don't check on the markets a single time).
Anyway, no need to worry about me being on the computer too much. It's those single guys without any family that people need to worry about. :-)
Ciao
Sarge

Sitting in front of a computer formulating responses to my posts, while appreciated, is really quite un-necessary. Thank you though for taking the time. And there's absolutely no need to apologize at all for your posts, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I do however accept your apology , and I thank you for that. As for investing in GIC's, if I go with what you and other "educated long term investors" are telling me, I'm already in a GIC. It's called Enbridge. With dividends being guaranteed by the posts I've read from really really smart investors such as yourself, I know I'm golden. Some have even posted their confidence in a dividend RAISE next year in the neighborhood of 5 to 7 % ! Oh Hey, Um, how'd that IPL dividend work out for you ? I hope your call on ENB's divvy is a little more "educated" than your call on IPL's. Any who, Toodle Loo for now, enjoy your turkey dinner this weekend. 1/2 hour till market close. Let's see today how Enbridge stacks up against it's peers today.... Sarge wrote : "Fiddy As usual, you're missing the point. Day to day fluctuations mean nothing to a true, educated long term investor. This is one of a number of reasons that I think you are in way over your head and should either stick with GICs or get an advisor. You are way too emotional and you really don't have a clue how to properly invest. Sorry to lay it out like that but the truth is the truth. Ciao Sarge"
